View Full Version : Raptor 350 Carb rebuild

Well looks like I will be rebuilding the carb to the wife's 350, I think the pilot jet is clogged. It will not stay running and pops/crackles for the short time it does run.

I will post pics of the rebuild and what it looks like inside.

waiting on pics...did you get a rebuild kit or just gonna clean it up and stuff?

did you get it running? im having a hard time with my big bear. it sat for a while and the carb got gummed up. I took it all apart and cleaned all the jets. it still wont run without the choke on. Any ideas?

When I rebuilt my carbs, I left them soaking in this bad boy, rinsed in fuel, blew out all the passages and it was good to go. But it sounds like either a jet is gummed up or the needle seat is dirty.

i actually figured it out. my pilot jet is completely blocked. i have a rebuild kit coming.

got the pilot jet replaced and got my big bear running smooth again. From now on im shutting the fuel off and running it til it runs out of gas when i know im not gonna be riding a while.
