Rhino Problem

Has anyone ever had a a problem with a Rhino not wanting to go? You have to floor it, make the rpms soar sky high and it will move a little bit? Just replaced the clutch and this happened again. The belt is not slipping its like the clutch is not engaging properly, any ideas?

my guess would be that one of the roller in the clutch sheave fell out of place when you was putting it back together.run it with the cover off and make sure the belt and sheave move the way they should.

We did that the belt is not slipping, but the clutch/sleave are not sliding out like they should be to engage properly.

did you take the bearing cage off and the 8 little bolts that hold the sheave cover off and look and make sure the rollers are still in place and that its not packed with mud?

Not yet, the first time this happened we took the cover off and it had oil all in it, this is not the case this time.

Yea, Would like to see what the problem was.

Yeah, the clutch already went out.... Thinking about going with a dry-clutch instead of the wet clutch that's in it.

dry clutch is the best for the heavy beast . IMO
