I have a plow on an old cub cadet mower

EJM05 02-04-2012 10:47 AM

what do you use to control it?

tmerritt530 02-04-2012 11:22 AM

Mine uses the hydraulic deck lift on the cub cadet

Winch controls on near the throttle

No plows here, just tractor and skid steer buckets
I helped my buddy put one on his rzr over Christmas break, pretty simple install since he had a winch

We have one on the black eiger, it's controlled by the winch, i think it's a 48. easier on the machine imo.

Surprisingly enough the 450 pushes the 60" pretty well .
Not as good as my 700 did but close .

My brother uses a 60" with his sportsman 500, works pretty good, so much better then using a shovel

nosbusa 12-11-2012 04:06 AM

now we just need to fit it on a ford raptor

i use a 60" plow on my RZR, works great. i just do my driveway and sometimes a couple other driveways nearby. my driveway is the biggest at 4000' square feet and it handles it no problem

nosbusa 12-17-2012 05:40 AM

i hope you charge money to do the other driveways........

I had that plow from Northern tool with the universal mount. It was ok but it was hinged in front of the quad so it would catch a joint or bump easy. My brother had a Moose plow, that thing kicked ass and was hinged under the center under the motor, there was a plate that bolted on the frame, I highly recommend that plow. It kicked some serious ass.
