SBA800 11-17-2012 02:58 AM

nosbusa 12-06-2012 12:49 AM

its a busy place. we gotta get this site, and your site jumping.

SBA800 12-06-2012 01:45 AM

yes. yes we do.

so its almost been a month since ive been able to ride. darn weather has been way to warm.

nosbusa 12-06-2012 02:24 AM

yep, i know the feeling. it was really humid today. 63 (aka 17.222c) out here and raining, but i was sweating... what the hell?!?!?

aarons419 12-06-2012 07:10 PM

It was like 78 here, pretty nice actually.

every time I see your damn sled, it makes me want to get one. First things first I need to get my dirt bike. I'm so impatient that I just emailed the guy again to figure out when we're meeting up to check out the bike. I've even contemplated just buying a different one because i could probably get it today, lol

SBA800 12-06-2012 11:08 PM

well, if he aint responding fuck him. get a different one.

and yeah, i really shouild have boughta summer fun toy first.... guaranteed usage. whereas with a sled, not guaranteed you will be able to use it. and believe me, having a $15K garage ornament is NOT fun

aarons419 12-07-2012 12:04 AM

Only reason I'm not pursuing another one is because this is potentially a great deal, and he was nice enough to hold it for me until I got back home. Otherwise I would have already bought the YZ 250 I've had my eyes on for the same price.

SBA800 12-07-2012 12:54 AM

ah right, i remember yo usaying that,
good of him to hold it, dont really wanna be a dick and not take it after hes held it

aarons419 12-07-2012 07:00 AM

Yeah exactly....I wanted to be, but I'm not going to be. He emailed me back earlier and I'm going to meet him at 7 tonight, so if all goes well and it's a solid bike, I'll have myself a new bike tonight!

SBA800 12-10-2012 08:53 PM

hope the weather gets better before xmas

nosbusa 12-11-2012 03:43 AM

SBA800 12-11-2012 10:31 AM

NickPic83 12-18-2012 10:11 PM

SBA800 01-17-2013 12:28 AM

finally got straps to strap down a gas can.

http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f5...ps3e1e8d97.jpg

kinda hard to see, but its pretty simple.
cost was $4 for the straps. they were 9 ft long each. cut em down to length needed and burned the ends so they dont fray. i can lift the sled off the ground by the gas can, so im gonna say its safe to say its not gonna be moving at all

nosbusa 01-17-2013 02:20 AM

extra fuel to burn when you crash?

SBA800 01-17-2013 02:25 AM

haha extra fuel for when im a dumbass and run out.

never know whats gonna happen when ya get out in the middle of the bush and get lost.
they aint got gas stations out there lol. only holds 2.5 gallons, so at best it would give me an extra 25-30 miles of riding. realisticly more like 20-25

nosbusa 01-17-2013 02:30 AM

that doesnt seem right for such a small engine

AK SNO RIDER 01-17-2013 02:31 AM

That is in interesting looking buckle/clasp thing on that strap. Haha if you can left it up by the can then yea, I'd say they're secure.

Always gotta have extra gas. We rode long enough the other night to actually have to throw a couple gallons in my buddies sled in order to keep riding so I could put a few more miles on mine. First time I'd ever needed the extra gas, but I'll never go on a ride without it.

They're two strokers, and make 150 Hp....They burn some fuel. Haha. They aren't eco boxes. Otherwise the EPA would leave us alone.....

nosbusa 01-17-2013 02:35 AM

so my raptor gets better gas mileage than your sled???

AK SNO RIDER 01-17-2013 02:38 AM

I honestly don't know what kind of mpgs I get. Even with my old sled I never checked. Not worth checking when you do mountain riding, it will always be different. Depends on the terrain, amount of snow, etc. Jarrett might know what he gets since he mainly trail rides.
