Well had the RZR on a track last weekend with the North Texas Raptor Owners. The RZR was doing extremely well on the track, passing a few trucks like it was nothing. Decided to push it a little hard, then things let loose. All the damage is caused by a single sheared bolt.

Bottom tie rod bolt sheared where it mounts to the frame. Tire kicked out, bent the wheel, bent the shock, bent the frame where the trailing arm mounts. All from one sheared bolt.

Damn that sucks. Good amount of carnage because of one bolt

bent frame? does that equal a replacement? or is it fixable?

That's the part that makes me mad. All of that just because a bolt that really shouldn't have been on there to begin with. Needed to be grade 8 at least. Oh well, rebuild and make it stronger.

It's fixable. Gonna put some thicker metal in there to keep it from bending as easily would there be a next time.

Yep. Mint was a blast. Didn't end the way we wanted it too, but got some good experience and battled the desert out there. Just couldn't catch a break

Back together. Just have to test it now.

Upgraded to a thicker plate, bent shock shaft back in to place, straightened frame mount, upgraded to Caterpillar bolts instead of cheap bolts used before.
